[NEWS] Geoinformatics engineering enrolled 36 freshmen; 33 are international students.

We are pleased to announce that the Geoinformatics Engineering program has successfully enrolled 36 freshmen for the 1st semester of the 2023-24 academic year. Notably, 33 out of the 36 students are international, highlighting the program’s global appeal.

Geographic Diversity and Academic Background

The majority of our international students hail from China and Iran. This geographical diversity enriches the academic environment, providing varied perspectives and opportunities for cross-cultural collaboration.

When it comes to academic backgrounds, 55% of the enrolled students have a foundation in Geomatics. This is followed by 24% with a background in Computer Science. The remaining 21% come from varied academic disciplines, further contributing to a rich, multidisciplinary educational setting.

The diverse and international makeup of this year’s freshmen class in the Geoinformatics Engineering program is a testament to its growing reputation and its appeal across different academic backgrounds.
