The European Space Agency (ESA) Living Planet Symposium will be held in Milano, from 13th to 17th May 2019.
The Symposium focuses on how Earth Observation contributes to science and society and how disruptive technologies and actors are changing the traditional Earth Observation landscape.
Clearly, an active participation to this event is of great educational impact for students in Engineering, especially for those studying new technologies for the environment, with a particular focus on Earth Observation data management and analysis.
The Living Planet Action is planned in strict cooperation between Politecnico di Milano and the Organizing Committee of Living Planet Symposium.
Participants to Living Planet Action will be involved in the Symposium for its whole duration. They will actively participate to the Symposium organization and management, as Symposium Volunteers, for two days and a half. In the remaining days of the Symposium they will have the opportunity to freely attend the scientific sessions. Both activities will be certified by Politecnico di Milano into a Diploma Supplement.
