PoliMappers @ OpenStreetMap Geography Awareness Week

PoliMappers are happy to announce their participation in the OpenStreetMap Geography Awareness Week, which will be held 11-17 November.

During this week teachers, students, community groups, map lovers join together to celebrate geography and make maps with OpenStreetMap, the free and openly editable map of the world. Participating groups include the American Red Cross, HOT, MapGive, YouthMappers, Missing Maps, Mapbox, USAID, GFDRR.

The meeting will take place on 14th of November, between 15:15 and 18:15, in the Leonardo campus of Politecnico di Milano, in building 2, room N.2.4. During the meeting we will have remote connections with other YouthMappers chapters in Bangladesh, Ghana and Zambia and learn how they are using OSM data in their research to improve lives. Then we
will map to contribute to their projects. For more information and to register, please visit https://www.eventbrite.com/e/polimappers-in-osm-geoweek-tickets-52265607840

enthusiasm for OSM.
