Dear students,

The activities of the course “Humanitarian Collaborative Mapping”, organized with PoliMappers, start again at the beginning of March! The next workshop will be held together with Resilient GAP, a students’ association at Politecnico di Milano which is working on environmental issues. In particular, during the workshop, the problem of deforestation in the Amazon rainforest will be discussed, with a remote connection with Geomatica UdeA, a YouthMappers chapter in Colombia based at the University of Antioquia. Researchers working on this issue will tell us about the relevant main problems and challenges.

Later we will map land use on OSM through iD editor. Be prepared, Resilient GAP’s members might need your help!
