QGIS provides a wide range of capabilities for exploratory data analysis and data-driven maps. This workshop covers QGIS map design capabilities. The core content covers:
• Setting up a project
• Using dynamic visual attributes
• Going beyond maps (diagrams)
• Designing print maps & reports
… and – if time allows – we’ll look into:
• Extra #1: towards the third dimension
• Extra #2: animations, geometry generators, and all the rest
Please bring your laptop with QGIS installed on it.

Anita Graser is a spatial data scientist, open source GIS advocate, and author.
Her research focuses on the analysis of movement data.
She’s co-author of QGIS Map Design and other books about QGIS.
