[NEWS] GIS-GEOLab researcher awarded with G.N.R.A.C Best M.Sc. thesis award
Our researcher Juan Pablo Duque Ordoñez, Ph.D. student at Politecnico di Milano in Environmental Engineering, has been awarded with the “PREMIO DI LAUREA G.N.R.A.C – AMBIENTE COSTIERO 2023” for his Master of Science thesis in Geoinformatics Engineering titled “Building a Digital Twin of the Italian Coasts”.
This award is given by The National Research Group for Coastal Environment issues (GNRAC – Gruppo Nazionale per la Ricerca sull’Ambiente Costiero) to recognise the excellence of recent graduates trained by the Italian university system, to disseminate and enhance their skills in tackling the challenges inherent to the protection and management of the coastal environment.
He will present the contents of his thesis and receive the award on September 22 2023, at the next National Conference on Coastal Studies to be held in Ferrara during the REMTECH EXPO.
We congratulate Juan Pablo for his outstanding job.
